A Speaker's Forum for a Canadian Viewpoint

Free Webinar on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2020, 7:00 PM

Sir John A. Macdonald as Seen Through the Eyes of his Contemporaries by Brian Porter

Following the success of our Summer Webinar Series that showcased the contenders for the CPC leadership, we cordially invite you to our fall webinar on Thursday, November 12th at 7 pm.
We are pleased to present Brian Porter of Brockville, ON where he will deliver a personal look at Sir John A. Macdonald as Seen Through the Eyes of his Contemporaries.
This informative presentation will provide an insightful counterpoint to the revisionist history motivated by a "Cancel Culture" that advocates for the removal of statues and the renaming of institutions including Queen's Sir John A. Macdonald Hall which houses that University's Faculty of Law. Be sure to attend this FREE webinar to see and hear a unique and enlightening perspective from those who lived during Canada's formative period.

Brian is a retired teacher and a recipient of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee medal (2012). He is an author of several Brockville history booklets and has a great interest in Canadian history.

We anticipate a webinar of approximately 60 - 75 minutes which will include an opportunity for some moderated Q & A.

We will also broadcast this Webinar live on Facebook. Please be sure to like & follow our Facebook page to receive the notification: http://www.facebook.com/ConfederationClub
