We are pleased to present Brian Porter of Brockville, ON where he will deliver a personal look at Sir John A. Macdonald as Seen Through the Eyes of his Contemporaries.

This informative presentation will provide an insightful counterpoint to the revisionist history motivated by a "Cancel Culture" that advocates for the removal of statues and the renaming of institutions including Queen's Sir John A. Macdonald Hall which houses that University's Faculty of Law. Brian is a retired teacher and a recipient of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee medal (2012). He is an author of several Brockville history booklets and has a great interest in Canadian history.
